Mid-Atlantic Christian University offers the online Bachelor of Science in Family Studies for students of faith. This program provides a perspective of preventive approaches when handling a family structure. The curriculum teaches the skills and knowledge necessary to best contribute to a healthy family system, including strong communication skills, knowledge of human development, decision-making skills, positive self-esteem, and healthy interpersonal relationships. You will learn to consider societal issues including economics, education, work-family issues, parenting, sexuality, genders, and more when analyzing a family system. This will help graduates find more precise solutions to prevent or minimize underlying issues, allowing them to contribute a solid foundation and exceptional understanding of the delicate blend of family functions along with Christian values.
