Business Administration: Marketing
The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Marketing track at Mercy College is ideal for individuals who wish to pursue job positions as an account executive, copywriter, art director, creative manager, market research, media planner, marketing manager, web management, and sales representative. Generally, those who wish to pursue a degree or concentration in Marketing are interested in how goods, services, and ideas are promoted and distributed on a local and national level. The Business Administration: Marketing track offers courses which focus specifically on business and its correlation to marketing.
All courses are taught completely online through a highly interactive interface that gives each student the opportunity to take courses while working full time. Mercy College offers many online orientations to the program, as to fully equip each student with the tools they need to succeed in an online educational experience. Additionally, classes are offered at a few of Mercy College's satellite locations in New York. Such location are as follows, Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan, and Yorktown.
Students will take 60 credit hours of general education courses, 45 credit hours in core and specialization courses, and 15 credit hours in electives to total 120 credit hours. Core business courses include, Financial Accounting, Introduction to Management Accounting, Financial Management, International Business, Business Law I, Principles of Management, Information Systems for Management, Organizational Behavior, and Principles of Marketing. Courses offered for the Marketing specialization include, Advertising, International Marketing, Sales Management, Marketing Research, Marketing Management, and Strategic Management.
The Business Administration program encourages students who do not work full-time to use open elective courses for internships or Co-op Education courses. Additionally, students are recommended to take ECON as a general elective, as it is a prerequisite of the business core courses.

Mercy College is a four-year private school located in Dobbs Fairy, New York. Mercy College was established in 1950 by the Sister of Mercy. The school only admitted women until 1967, when the institution began to accept men.
Mercy College offers certificates of completion associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctorate degrees in over 90 programs. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Online courses offer flexible class schedules for students who may have extra responsibilities. Mercy College students have the opportunity to take one or all of their courses online through the more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs offered. Undergraduate academic programs include:
