Business Administration: Management
The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration: Management track at Mercy College provides students with the expert knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in business. Curriculum focuses on preparing each student on how to lead, organize and plan any professional organization. Students are able to take classes completely online or at several Mercy College locations. Courses are offered at Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan and Yorktown, New York satellite locations. The online educational experience is highly interactive and encourages communication between advisors and students. There are several orientation programs offered to help each student become accustomed to the online learning experience. Additionally, the program is Middle States accredited.
Specific program courses offered for the Bachelor of Science in Business AdministrationL Management degree include, Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Management Accounting, Financial Management, International Business, Business Law, Principles of Management, Information Systems for Management, Organizational Behavior, and Principles of Marketing. In total, students will complete 45 credit hours in core business courses, 15 credit hours of elective courses and 60 credit hours in general education courses.
The Business Administration program encourages students to use their open electives for internships or Co-op Education courses. In terms of requirements for the Management specialization, students must take courses that are 300 level or above in either Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, or Sport Management.

Mercy College is a four-year private school located in Dobbs Fairy, New York. Mercy College was established in 1950 by the Sister of Mercy. The school only admitted women until 1967, when the institution began to accept men.
Mercy College offers certificates of completion associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctorate degrees in over 90 programs. Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Online courses offer flexible class schedules for students who may have extra responsibilities. Mercy College students have the opportunity to take one or all of their courses online through the more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs offered. Undergraduate academic programs include:
