McKendree University's Online BBA in Management gives students an in-depth look at management principles and theories, as well as a general understanding of business operations. Students with this degree will be educated on the four major functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
Coursework is presented as a mix of theory and applicable knowledge, and includes both Management core classes and general business classes in areas such as Accounting, Finance, Business Law, Management and Marketing. This degree helps prepare students for successful management careers in a variety of organizations, such as businesses, the government, and non-profits.
The courses are offered entirely online, giving students the ability to take classes whenever is most convenient for them. Each major at McKendree requires a minimum of 128 credit hours for completion. Of those, 58 must come at the university level, 40 must be in 300- or 400-level courses, and a minimum of 32 hours must be with McKendree. Students must also fulfill the general education requirements and pass a writing proficiency exam in order to graduate.
