Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Integrative Health Studies teaches students how complementary health practices can be integrated with conventional healthcare. Students can choose from elective courses in five categories including nutrition, health promotion, herbal medicine, mind-body practices, and whole medical systems. This 30-credit program can be completed in one and a half years.

Classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrative care models
  • Becoming a healing presence
  • Survey of complementary health approaches

Career opportunities for graduates include jobs in acupuncture, nutrition, health and wellness coaching, health promotion, yoga therapy, herbal medicine, and more.
