Program Details

The Master of Arts in Consciousness and Human Potential is an online health and wellness degree program from Maharishi International University for individuals interested in examining consciousness as viewed by Maharishi Vedic Science.  This program is based on Vedic science’s description of consciousness as existing in and by itself, independent of a personal owner.  The goal of this program is to unfold the student’s inner potential by mastering practical knowledge that will transform their lives, creating coherence, harmony, and world peace.  

The curriculum examines the interaction between brain functioning and consciousness, parallels between the unified field of physics and the field of consciousness, and the connection between individual and collective consciousness.  You will study such fields as neuroscience, physics, and the social sciences while heightening your creativity, deepening critical thinking skills, and improving your writing ability along with other important career and life skills.  A number of specializations are available, including:
