Long Island University is a four-year private school located in Brooklyn, New York. LIU was formed in 1926 by the New York State Education Department to provide effective and affordable education to people from all walks of life.
LIU has two main campuses, one located in Brooklyn, and one located in Brookville. The Brooklyn campus is the original location of Long Island University. Long Island University offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctor’s degrees.
LIU Post offers several online degree programs in subjects including but not limited to health information management, accounting, and earth and environmental science.
