Program Details

The Master of Science in Nursing program at Lincoln Memorial University has a Nursing Administration concentration, which focuses on preparing nurses with skills in finance, budgeting, marketing, and analysis. The Nursing Administration option helps students develop leadership skills, which means confidence in their own ability to initiate change and evolve the healthcare industry. Students will be challenged to know business administration principles as well as nursing knowledge so that the two disciplines can combine to improve patient outcomes. Students will take classes online in addition to a 360 clinical hour requirement.


  • Graduation from an accredited associate’s and bachelor's nursing degree programs
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Basic understanding of statistics and computer skills
  • Three recommendations from healthcare professionals
  • A three-page letter of professional goals
  • An unencumbered RN license in the state in which the student resides
  • Medical profile (including immunizations record), urine drug screen, and a criminal background check must be completed no more than 60 days prior to enrollment to the MSN program
  • Proof of health insurance
