For the Specialty Area Requirements students are asked to consult with an advisor on what courses to take; overall 36 credit hours are required.

Collateral Requirements encompass 15 credit hours of the entire degree and students can suffice these hours in some the following classes: Gospel of John (DAL), Synoptic Gospels, Introduction to Missions, Contemporary World Religions, Religion and Culture, and more. Finally, students are given the chance to personalize the degree by choosing five courses (or 15 credit hours) outside the realm of Christian Studies.
