The online Professional Preparation Program / Certificate in Counseling & Development is designed to prepare professional counselors to practice in a broader range of settings including community agencies, hospitals, and other mental health related facilities. The program curriculum also matches the additional educational requirements for school counselors to pursue licensure in the state of Texas.
A 48-hour master's degree in counseling. Official transcripts. A 3.0 GPA, the overall or the last 60 semester hours. Students who do not meet the GPA requirement will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
