Lakeland College’s Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science program provides students with foundational knowledge and skills in programming and data management, as well as a variety of electives designed to allow students to guide their own focus of studies. Graduates may pursue careers in applications programming, information technology and systems management.

    School Overview

    Lakeland University is a four-year private Christian school located in Plymouth, Wisconsin. German immigrants fleeing religious controversy in Europe traveled to the Sheboygan area and founded the school in 1862 as a Mission House, a combination of a seminary and a college. The name Lakeland University was adopted in 1956. Today, enrollment is no longer limited to pre-theological students and the college has developed strong programs of study in a wider number of disciplines.

    Lakeland University offers undergraduate majors, master’s programs, and several corporate training opportunities that are all taught by real-world practitioners. Although the college doesn’t emphasize its Christian roots as much any more, students who choose religion as a major will be taught according to Judeo-Christian principles. Lakeland University has several locations where weekend, evening, study abroad, and online courses are taught.
