Program Details

The online Master of Science in Academic Advising program is designed for practicing academic advisors and administrators looking to further their educations.  The program also helps university faculty seeking advising knowledge beyond their discipline and students anticipating academic advising roles.  The curriculum provides advisors with the skills needed for effective academic advising, such as the ability to recognize and utilize contributions of diversity, theory, practice, and research.  The program prepares advisors to contribute to the development and learning of college students through informed advising practice.


  • Bachelor's degree with 3.0 minimum GPA in the final two years or approximately the last 60 credit hours
  • GRE or MAT test scores for students not meeting minimum GPA
