Program Details

The online Master of Music degree offers an emphasis on Music Education for music educators at all levels.  This degree in music improves the music educators’ knowledge of a variety of skills, techniques, and concepts in a hands-on, practical approach.  The program is dedicated to providing educational opportunities and resources to public school music programs and their instructors and to providing options and opportunities for educators to complete their advanced degrees.  With this music degree, courses emphasize personal growth and development as students work toward individual goals as well as applicability, practicality, flexibility, and accessibility.  

This program includes an intensive one-week summer session on Kansas State’s campus that is designed to provide specialized training in fundamental and practical areas of music.
