Program Details

Learn how to teach and create lessons online with the K-12 online teaching undergraduate certificate. In this program, students learn the best practices for online teaching, learning, course creation and design, learning management systems, and more. Students must be current in-service teachers or currently enrolled in a teacher education program at Kansas State. Applications are accepted year-round.

Some of the classes offered include:

  • Online instructional design and development
  • Introduction to online teaching and learning
  • Practicum

Through this program, students will learn the necessary skills to design, implement, and teach effectively in virtual classrooms. Faculty and staff are experienced and ready to help students achieve success. Graduates of the online certificate in K-12 online teaching will be tech-savvy and up-to-date on current trends in online education.
