The online Master of Science in Disaster Medicine & Management program is designed to prepare students to manage and develop increasingly complex disaster management and preparedness requirements. The curriculum educates medical, public safety, and defense professionals to plan for, respond to, and mitigate the effects of natural and manmade disasters. Students will gain knowledge in the areas of terrorism war, tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, volcanoes, hazardous materials, and major power grid disruptions, including the psychological aspects. You will gain skills in management, communication, logistics, research, and more.
- Requires a 6.5 day on-campus residency during one summer
