Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Development program is a two-year degree program that prepares students for employment directly after graduation.  The curriculum provides students with the skills and theoretical knowledge related to the care, supervision, education, and development of young children from birth to age 12 that readies them to seek employment in a variety of positions within the childcare field.  Employment opportunities include positions as childcare center directors, before- and after-school teachers or assistant teachers, aides, playroom attendants, camp directors, daycare providers, and more.
