Indiana University offers the online Master of Science in Music Therapy degree. This music degree provides professional board-certified music therapists with advanced research skills and clinical practice in music therapy. Students learn advanced research skills which enhance their critical analysis and integration of current research findings into clinical practice while also learning how to use the many tools available in music technology. You will work with adults and children who have psychiatric disorders, mental retardation and developmental disabilities, speech and hearing impairments, physical disabilities, and neurological impairments, among others. Music therapists hold jobs in a variety of settings, including:
