Master of Education in Elementary Education

Program Details

The online Master of Education in Elementary Education program assists elementary and early childhood teachers who wish to improve professional competence.  Students can choose from concentrations in early childhood, literacy, and primary and intermediate.  Courses include Research in Education, The Elementary Curriculum, Seminar in Elementary Education, and Teacher as Reflective Practitioner (Video Analysis).

Requirements

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree granted by a regionally accredited institution
  • Have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all undergraduate coursework; or have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all courses taken at the graduate level
  • Other application materials may be required
  • The GRE is not required

Restrictions

Students must be residing in either the United States or Canada, with the exception of U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members with APO/FPO addresses.
