Program Details

A concentration in Pastoral Counseling is available through the Houston Christian University online Master of Arts degree program. Designed for those currently in ministry seeking to more effectively help those in need. Advance skills through research-supported practice and courses including but not limited to:

• Crisis response and trauma care
• Theories and techniques in counseling
• Organizational coaching
• Gender issues and differences

Concentrations include addiction and recovery, crisis response, human sexuality, military counseling, and more. Students must take an internship course, developing hands-on experience in real-world settings.
