Hawaii Pacific University offers the highest nursing degree, the Doctor of Nursing Practice.  This online nurse practitioner degree is a practice-based doctoral program that teaches students to apply research methods and knowledge to improve healthcare.  You will learn to develop, implement, evaluate, and practice innovation as you work to improve both patient and population-based care.  The curriculum integrates evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and systems leadership so students are ready to be advanced nursing practice.  

This program includes an evidence-based DNP project that gives you the opportunity to develop and evaluate an innovation relevant to your practice.  You will also be able to practice independent learning, group work, and engagement with practice leaders and organizations.
