Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Homeland Security program prepares students for careers in homeland security and with law-related employers such as federal, state, and local government and private sector law enforcement and security organizations.  The curriculum teaches students to apply the perspectives of political science, criminal justice, and history to homeland security; to understand key processes in homeland security issues and dilemmas; and to interpret historical, cultural, philosophical, and political aspects of homeland security.  This degree can be used as a tool to enter bachelors degrees in diplomacy and military studies, criminal justice, or international studies.
