Program Details

The online Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education program from Great Basin College is an abbreviated form of the corresponding two-year AAS degree, designed to prepare students with specific job skills quickly. The curriculum covers child development and education, family and community relationships, inter-agency cooperation and referrals, cross-cultural awareness, curriculum development and implementation, child assessment, and professional behavior. Additionally, students may choose one of the following concentrations to suit their personal interests and professional goals:

  • Early Childhood 
  • Infant/Toddler
