The Master of Science in Nursing with an Emphasis in Health Informatics is designed for BSN-prepared nurses who want to better understand and apply the data involved in healthcare to make better decisions through evidenced-based practices.
This program requires a 16-week practicum.
- An accredited college or program that has been approved by Grand Canyon University (GCU), with a 2.8 GPA or higher
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a CCNE/NLNAC or ACEN accredited program with a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with completion of the bridge to MSN (including Nursing Concurrent Enrollment Program [NCEP] students)
- Possess a current unencumbered, unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN)
