Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education

Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education program is designed for individuals interested in education and licensure toward teaching students in a 1st -8th grade classroom setting. The format and courses of this program are regionally accredited and Arizona State Board of Education approved. The program is designed to maximize content knowledge and in-classroom teaching experiences for teacher candidates to meet the needs of 21st century learners. Students will study will study topics such as lesson planning and assessments, classroom management, social justice, English as a Second Language, and instructional methods and strategies for English, Math, Science and Social Studies. All courses are directly aligned with both professional teaching and associated national content standards.
