Graduate Certificate in Finance
Golden Gate University provides a Graduate Certificate in Finance program designed to provide the skills and education that is needed for acquiring and maintaining careers within the field of finance. The program is intended for both first-time students and current working professionals looking to strengthen their education. Instructors within the program are also well-qualified, local business professionals that ensure students receive a real-world education.
All of the program courses may be completed online. If a student is interested in a more traditional program format, there are campus-based classes that are offered on the San Francisco campus. The courses within the program may also fulfill master’s degree program requirements if a student is interested in advancing their education at Golden Gate University.
Students will need to complete 15 units in order to receive the certificate. The program will require students to take Corporate Finance course and four other 300 and 400 level courses within ECON and FI. Some 300 and 400 level ECON courses that students may take are International Trade & Finance, Making Sense of Market Data: Economic Indicators, and Directed Study. Some 300 and 400 level FI courses are Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance, Financial Modeling and Management Control Systems.
Some of the program’s courses may have prerequisites that need to be completed before enrollment.
