The online Post-Graduate Certificate in School Library Media qualifies as certification for a PreK-12 school library media specialist. Candidates will demonstrate relevant and current professional knowledge and skills and create school library media programs that support student learning. Graduates develop and implement a shared vision for a school media program that aligns resources, services, and standards with the school’s mission and collaborate with teachers and administrators to design and implement inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with relevant standards.
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Possess an Induction or Professional Certificate or equivalent in a teaching field or a Certificate Eligibility for an Induction Certificate in a teaching field OR submit eligible GACE, SAT, ACT, or GRE scores
