Program Details

Enroll in this master’s in secondary education online degree and enhance professional opportunities.  This program is designed for those who hold a  bachelor’s degree in language arts, science, social studies, or mathematics.  Prepare for a master’s degree and teacher certification in grades 4-8.  Courses will likely include:

• Introduction to the Middle and Secondary School 
• Curriculum and Instruction I 
• Middle and Secondary School Practicum

Choose a concentration in science methods, language arts methods, social science methods, or mathematics methods.

All students will complete student teaching in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and/or 8, putting their new knowledge and skills to work in the real world.
