Program Details

Georgia Highlands College offers an online associate’s degree in Middle Grades Teacher Education focused on non-STEM courses. This program is designed as a pathway for students to use toward a future bachelor-level degree.

The program provides general education coursework in areas including English, math, humanities, science, and social sciences. Other courses focus on the prerequisites necessary for a bachelor’s in Secondary Education online. Students will choose two teaching areas to focus on, and the curriculum is customized to each student’s transfer goals.
