Recognized as one of the top programs in the world, Georgetown University's Master of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management is available in an online format. This program, offered through the School of Continuing Studies, provides students with the business management and leadership skills needed to launch a successful and impactful career in the sports industry.

This fully accredited, graduate program is comprised of a faculty of prominent industry practitioners who bring noteworthy expertise to each course and deliver a practical and applied learning model grounded in the principles of responsibility, ethics, and service.

As graduates of the Sports Industry Management online program, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry in areas that include applied ethics, leadership, critical and analytical thinking, sports business acumen and responsibility, communication, strategic planning, teamwork and group dynamics, global perspectives, and project management and implementation. In addition to these areas, the global approach to the program prepares students to pursue a multitude of positions within the industry across organizations that include:

The online Master of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management consists of 10 courses totaling 30 credit hours. The curriculum is designed to showcase the practical applications of each course and reflect the growing and changing dynamics within each sector of the global sports industry.

At the end of the program, students will complete a capstone project under the guidance of a sports industry professional and the program faculty. This project will help students jumpstart their sports management career after graduation. And because Georgetown allows students to earn their master's degrees online, they can prepare for a career in sports whenever and wherever it is most convenient.

These are based on academic qualifications.

    To remain compliant with federal VISA regulations, international students are not eligible to take courses exclusively online. Georgetown University is not yet able to offer online formats in every state for every online program.
