Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Game Development is an online game design degree from Full Sail University that prepares students for entry-level positions in the gaming development industry.  Gaming is becoming increasingly popular and increasingly complex as gamers expect the technology involved in developing games to evolve at the same rate as other technology in our lives.  With this degree you will be guided through the entire game development cycle from preproduction to the finished product, developing the programming skills and theory needed to develop games while enhancing your ability to create complex game environments.  As you complete this degree program you will learn to create code for 3D graphic display, multiplayer gaming, artificially intelligent opponents, and real-time virtual environments.  Students study technical proficiency and creative development while developing critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
