Program Details

The Graduate Certificate in Youth Services is an online human services degree program offered at Florida State University.  This is a graduate-level certificate for both degree- and non-degree seeking students that meet the requirements.  Offered by the School of Information, this program teaches the technical aspects of youth services, an area of human services.  The curriculum provides knowledge in resources, services, and evaluation focused on the information needs and interests of children and youth.  This training prepares graduates to be information professionals that specialize in youth services. 

This program is flexible, allowing students to choose some of their courses from these options:

• Instructional Role of the Informational Specialist 
• Diverse Resources for Children and Young Adults
