The online Associate of Science in Computer and Information Science will provide the basic skills of computer programming and analysis, design and implementation of software systems.The Associate level courses will enhance a student’s understanding of the proper usage of sophisticated application software, data collection, management and analysis. Additionally, students will learn the critical skills for programming languages and designing operable business systems.
The Associate degree program will prepare graduates for entry-level positions with most organizations. Graduates can also use the degree as the groundwork for pursuing higher educational aspiration in computer programming and application development, and transfer the earned credits towards a Bachelor’s degree program.
High school graduate who has completed a high school curriculum and received a regular high school diploma, or GED. Applicants out of high school for more than five years are not required to provide ACT or SAT scores. If out of high school for less than five years, a minimum ACT score of 18 or SAT score of 1290 is required for admission.
