Program Details

Enroll in online literacy programs to increase professional opportunities.  This certification is designed for licensed teachers with master’s degrees who want to earn a Reading Specialist endorsement.  The Reading Specialist Certification is for licensure endorsement only.

Gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to help students from diverse populations learn.  You will work with Pre-K to Adult students as literary leaders who:

• Evaluate students’ reading abilities
• Plan assessments
• Provide reading and writing instruction
• Support struggling readers

Not only will you elevate your teaching skills, but you will learn to work collaboratively and cooperatively with other professionals to make a difference in students’ lives.
