Program Details

The online Master of Education with a specialization in Educational Psychology program offers a broad theoretical and practical background in the areas of education and psychology while maintaining focus of the importance of having a broad understanding of the psychological development of all children.  Individuals learn to assist teachers with the stresses they face on the job, so teachers understand how to more easily demonstrate student growth and helps individuals assist all children in achieving academic success, social competence, and emotional and physical health.  The program broadens the understanding of human development and learning, emphasizes respect for diversity, and helps each student identify and apply his or her unique talents while utilizing problem-solving, data-based approaches that allow him or her to work with children and families with a broad range of needs.
