Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education

Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education program is designed to prepare students to either enter the workforce or further their education as early childhood professionals.  The curriculum provides background in child development and knowledge in planning and administering early childhood educational programs.  Graduates are prepared for employment as teachers or aides in early childhood programs, preschools, and Head Start programs.  Courses include:

  • Intro to Early Childhood Education
  • Constitutional Requirements
  • Freshman Foundations
  • Physical Education Activity
  • Social & Cultural Awareness

Requirements

  • Requires 60 credits for completion
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • All official transcript(s), including college (if applicable)
  • ACT scores or campus placement exams
  • Background check (if applicable)
