Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology is a 15-credit hour program that gives students an understanding of epidemiology concepts used in public health practice. Through this online program, students gain a comprehensive overview of determinants of disease, injury, and illnesses. Students will learn to assess the health trends of different population groups.

Classes include, but are not limited to:

  • Statistical software for public health
  • Infectious and chronic disease epidemiology
  • Statistical reasoning for public health

Classes are taught in the evenings to accommodate working professionals. The advanced curriculum will help graduates become leaders in their field. Graduates will be ready to face challenges that may arise during their careers.
