Eastern New Mexico University offers an online Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science ideal for students who want to study aviation as part of a liberal arts program. The program provides the academic study required to find employment in a variety of professional aviation-related careers. The BS in Aviation Science covers a wide range of job possibilities in ground operations and servicing, safety, maintenance, ticketing, scheduling and manufacturing.
The BS in Aviation Science is a 128 credit hour program with 33 hours completed at ENMU. A minimum of 21 credit hours and a maximum of 30 credit hours may be transferred in for the student’s technical emphasis requirement. The Aviation Science major requires 22 to 38 hours of course work for graduation depending upon how much credit was transferrable. Some of the required courses include: Aviation Law, Contemporary Issues in Aviation, Spreadsheets and Data Analysis, and a Senior Seminar.
