The online Master of Science in Health Education program provides graduates with the understanding, skills and professional values required to be a leader in the practice of health education. The curriculum draws from the biological, environmental, psychological, social, physical, and medical sciences to promote health and prevent disease, disability, and premature death. Students will learn to work in schools in grades K-12 as health educators who teach health education classes, promote and implement comprehensive school health programming, and promote health school environments, and in colleges or universities where they create environments where students feel empowered to make healthy choices and advocate for student wellness programs and healthy student environments. Others find positions in workplaces and influence the health behavior of individuals and lifestyle conditions that influence health.
