The online Master of Education in Library Media program is designed for graduate students planning to become School Library Media Specialists in grades PreK-12 in public or private educational settings. The program prepares competent, certified School Library Media Specialists in accordance with the state and national professional standards and guidelines. The curriculum emphasizes all areas of school librarianship, including technology. Special attention is given to the development of students as consumers of research along with a major emphasis on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are necessary to become School Library Media Specialists.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on all undergraduate coursework to date; or
Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 in the sixty (60) hours of coursework; or
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on at least nine (9) hours of graduate coursework
