Program Details

The online Mobile Applications Developer Certificate program from Dallas County Community College District provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop Android mobile applications from design to deployment. Topics include:

  • Web application design and responsive layout using HTML/CSS3
  • Native application design and development using Java and Android Studio core functionality 
  • Hybrid development using industry accepted tools, processes, and procedures

This program is offered at the following DCCCD schools:

  • El Centro


  • Official high school and/or college transcripts
  • Basic understanding of personal computers and operating systems as obtained in ITSC 1401 or BCIS 1405 or COSC 1301 and problem solving and logic structures as obtained in ITSE 1429 or equivalent experience approved by designated Information Technology personnel
