Master of Social Work
Daemen College

Program Details

This online MSW gives you the advantage of closely working with faculty and a cohort, while also allowing you the independence to complete assignments asynchronously.  In Daemen's traditional MSW program, you'll take two classes every eight-weeks.  You'll work through this traditional CSWE-accredited curriculum specifically designed for students who do not have an undergraduate degree in social work. In addition to online classwork, you will be expected to undertake a practicum that involves learning in the field, to acquire first-hand knowledge.  With Daemen's online MSW, you can be "that" person who makes a difference in your community and beyond.  Samples of courses include:

  • Oppression, Power & Change
  • Human Behavior & the Social Environment
  • Crisis Management with Evidence-based Interventions
