Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies - General Studies Degree
Offered through Crown College is a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies - General Studies. The primary objective in the Liberal Arts program is to formally educate individuals in the interdisciplinary courses required for a broad and comprehensive understanding of essentials concepts. The liberal arts focus provides students a variety of educational concepts as foundations for further schooling or as the required degree for career advancement. Students are encouraged to transfer credits from previous learning establishments to expedite the Bachelor of Science program's length.
The B.S. degree in Liberal Arts introduces students to five essential humanities courses, in addition to general education requirements, to analyze and apply biblical sources when obtaining truth and engaging in critical thinking about scriptures and theological issues. The Liberal Arts program will culminate with students completing a tailored portfolio project as a capstone course. Accepted students can design and apply the curriculum to best achieve current and future career goals.
The goal of the program is to provide students the necessary and relevant knowledge needed when applying skills in a multitude of professional positions. The online program allows adult learners and other professionals the flexibility to earn their degree while still fulfilling other obligations. In addition to the core curriculum, the faculty members are dedicated to promoting and nurturing leadership styles that will contribute to meaningful and effective organizations.
