There is no better way to impact your community and change the lives of others, than becoming a social worker.  At Concord, their online MSW in Advanced Standing prepares you to help others improve their quality of life and empower communities to achieve a level of social justice.  This CSWE-accredited program is dedicated to outreach in rural areas and as such, contains specialized, advanced coursework that focuses on that aspect.  You'll complete specialized rural research and practice on an advanced level.  Outside of this practicums and research, course subjects are likely to include:

• Rural practice with individuals, families and groups
• Social work policy in rural practice
• Appalachian culture, structure and environments
