Program Overview

The Associate of Arts in Ministry program offered by Clear Creek Baptist Bible College is a program of study that ideally benefits individuals who wish to better serve their local church or those who are attempting to find their own direction related to vocational ministry. This program’s curriculum focuses on basic ministry skills, expands on knowledge of the Bible, and prepares its students to specialize in a particular area of ministry. In order to graduate, all students at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College must complete two Christian Service Assignments, a Christian Service Guidance (during every semester the student is enrolled), the How to Study course, and chapel requirements.

This program requires students to complete at least 65 credit hours of courses in order to graduate with the Associate of Arts in Ministry degree. This some general studies courses, which are required in order to help the student gain critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze effectively. Subjects covered in the general studies core include: English, fine arts and humanities, general science, fitness, and computers. Students take courses in both Bible and theology as well as ministry studies cores. This program requires the students to study both the old and new testaments in great detail. Since Clear Creek is affiliated with the Baptist Church, students in this program are required to take a Baptist Doctrine course.

    Clear Creek Baptist Bible College (CCBBC) is a private four-year institution located in the rural town of Pineville, Kentucky, that provides a Bible-based education focusing on Christian service. CCBBC is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Church. Clear Creek Baptist Bible College was established in 1926 by Dr. Lloyd Caswell Kelly to introduce an annual Bible Institute. The mission of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College is “...to provide theological preparation for adults called of God into Christian service.”

    Clear Creek Baptist Bible College offers associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees as well as certificates in ministry. Online programs allow students the ability to complete coursework from anywhere. The Associate of Arts in Ministry degree and three bachelor’s degrees can be earned completely online. Students can also pursue a Certificate in Bible.
