Program Details

The online Master of Education in Science Education concentration focuses on preparing educators to teach scientific principles and theories to students.  Students will learn to demonstrate discipline-specific content, child development, and pedagogical content knowledge, as well as professional responsibility and ethical conduct while exhibiting respect for the cultural diversity of learners, families, colleagues, and communities.  Graduates are able to develop standards aligned goals, objectives, and learning experience plans; design appropriate assessments to measure learning; and analyze and reflect on instructional strategies, behavioral strategies, and learner progress.
