Program Overview

The online Undergraduate Certificate in Web Programming is designed to teach the most commonly used client- and server-side programming languages to build interactive, database-driven websites.  Students will also learn how to identify and apply HTML/XML/XSL/CSS tags and attributes for web page design, apply database connectivity programming techniques, and design secure websites.

    School Overview

    Champlain College is a private college in Burlington, Vermont, that was established in 1878 as Burlington Collegiate Institute by G.W. Thompson. The college has moved many times and changed its name but took its current name in 1958 and relocated to the Hill Section of Burlington where it lies today. Champlain areas of study include undergraduate degrees, online certificates and degree programs, and master’s degree programs.

    In 1993, online educational programs were introduced to the college. Today, the school offers a variety of programs online. Certain associate’s and bachelor’s degrees can be attained by only using online programs. Many other degrees incorporate the use of online classes.
