Master of Education in Early Childhood Education
Champlain College

Program Details

The online Master of Education in Early Childhood Education program engages educators on deeper levels while using a project-based approach that allows them to work independently and apply their learning to current positions in the early childhood education field.  The curriculum adds to existing knowledge and equips educators with skills and approaches for assessing children’s development, observing and documenting behavior, supporting children and families, supporting children with special needs, and addressing early childhood education professional standards, policies, procedures, practices, and perspectives.  Educators also learn specific tactics for observing where children choose to play on their own and how to enrich those environments that motivate students to learn through their play.  This program allows students to choose a path focused on either Special Education, Teaching, or Administration for Early Childhood Education.
