Central Texas College offers an online mathematics degree, the Associate of Science in Mathematics, for individuals interested in continuing their educations with a bachelor’s degree in the field. With this online math degree students will complete many of the general education requirements for a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution, allowing them to enter a baccalaureate program above the normal freshman level. The curriculum also includes entry-level courses in the mathematics field so you will get a taste of the topic to ensure this is the direction you want to head for future careers. Students find that this program gives them the best of both worlds, the flexibility to meet their other obligations while studying and an education that is at least as beneficial as one completed on-campus. You may be learning at a distance, but help is never far away. Courses promote interaction with instructors and peers and the tuition includes tutoring in both math and writing!
