Carson-Newman University offers an online Master of Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction. This program is for experienced teachers with a desire to strengthen their classroom skills and take on leadership roles in PreK-12 schools. 

The curriculum provides opportunities for you to perform research in your content field. Graduates will use research findings to make informed decisions about their own practices; use technology as a tool to maximize student learning; promote professional development; and effectively use varied assessment strategies to meet the needs of all diverse populations. Graduates will also consider the needs of children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds to serve as change agents to ensure that all students learn and will facilitate desirable relationships between home, school, and the community.
