Program Details

The online Bachelor of Social Work degree program is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the fundamental theories and practices of the complex social work field, including social policies, crisis intervention, and marriage and family relationships. Graduates are prepared to pursue positions in a variety of settings including:

  • Family Resource Centers
  • Adoption Agencies

Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended. High school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores if fewer than 24 transfer credits. Three letters of recommendation. Personal essay.

North Carolina does not accept any field placements for schools located outside their state. Due to the importance of the field practicum for social work degrees, North Carolina students will not be able to pursue the Bachelor of Social Work degree unless field positions can be secured from a neighboring state.
